Beryl is a 1972 VW T2 Micro bus

Her colour is Beryl Green (hence the name) with red vinyl interior.

She is an original 1972 T2 micro bus, unlike the majority of other T2 VW’s which tend to have started off life as camper vans before having a conversion to add further seating.

Beryl spent her first 47 years in New South Wales, Australia before coming to the UK in 2018 –  which explains the original condition inside and out.

She always grabs a great deal of attention due to her unusual colour, red vinyl interior and wooden roof rack which really make her stand out against other T2 models.

She still has her original air cooled 1600 VW engine with that unmistakable sound that really suits her and, like the colour, just draws attention and smiles.

Although she has 2 rows of 3 seats in the back and 2 seats in the front (all with seat belts), and is registered as an 8 seater, we do need to be realistic on how many people she can comfortably accommodate.

If child seats are required the seat belts are not suitable for iso-fix car seats, but they could be used to secure the older fashioned units if required. Please let us know if this would be in your plans.

Overall, Beryl is a real head turner, who never fails to attract attention wherever she goes.  If you don’t mind waving to other cars and pedestrians (which seems mandatory) then this is something that can’t help but make you smile on your special big day.

Beryl also has the added option of being available to use as a very unique photo booth.

The middle row of seats comes out and all the photo equipment is stored in the front, so it’s a simple process of jumping in the large sliding door, taking your position on the back seats, pressing the button and your photos automatically print off for collection as you leave.

In the event of inclement weather Beryl has a gazebo that goes over her.

This service is manned throughout its stay and a large variety of props is available to choose from.
